HOUSE OF FORGED / LONG DRIVE TEAM shafts dominated the major shaft companies in this competition for the second year in a row.  In addition to Jamie’s victory, Dewald Gouws of South Africa took second place using the Whup-n-Shaft, while Joe Shuba and Vinny Ciurluini took 6th and 7th Places with the Whup-n-Shaft.  These finals were dominated by House of Forged/Long Drive Team shafts.

… Our PATRIOT series shafts feature MATRIX’S proprietary TTR (tip-torsion-resistance) technology along with CAD Design to offer a shaft that is strong from butt-to-tip with elasticity across the shaft.  When you combine this engineering with the finest graphite prepreg materials, and then use advanced electronic rolling machinery (as manned by professionals averaging ten years of experience), you can create a shaft that will propel the ball with as much speed as possible, while lowering the ball-spin rate for a boring ball-flight and less side-to-side dispersion.   These standard-weight (60-70/gram) shafts will dominate the so-called “premium” golf shafts of other manufacturers, which cost three times as much.

… The JAMIE SADLOWSKI signature series golf shafts honor the youngest-ever (21-year-old) RE/MAX LDA World Long-Drive Champion, who has won consecutive titles in 2008 & 2009.  These shafts are similar to our renowned PATRIOT series; however, they are meant for performance-minded golfers who can appreciate the stronger flex-pattern, the higher cpms, the lower torque, and the higher bend-point, which are the earmarks of a total-performance golf shaft.  Because of the higher listed swing-speeds, we recommend that if you are in doubt about the proper flex, you should drop-down to the lower flex.

… Our WHUP-n-SHAFT LT has been the dominate shaft in long drive for the past two
years, having been used by 2007 RE/MAX LDA Champion Mike Dobbyn, as well as
by 2008 champion Jamie Sadlowski.  During 2008, this shaft was also used by Vinny
“Pasta Man” Ciurluini to win the LDA’s Diamond-in-the-Desert Event; by Mitch
McDowell to win the Texas Shootout; by Steve Monroe to win Shank’s Shoot-out, as
well as by Jamie Sadlowski to win the Canadian LDA’s Championships.  Recently,
this LT shaft was used by Trevor “Macho Man” Consavage to win the Christmas Clash

… We built these lighter-weight shafts after many of the
competitors at the 2007 RE/MAX LDA World Long Drive
Championships asked us to come out with a lighter shaft.
This shaft was was used by two-time World Champion Gerry
James to make the Finals in the Senior Division, and Tom
Roskos also used it to take a solid 4th Place at the LDA’s
Canadian Long Drive Championships.  The low flex
categories allow club-makers the option to build long drivers

standard length driver shafts, so that golfers of all abilities
can experience a world-class shaft, which is similar to the
