The most successful component club head of all time. 2 World Long Drive Championships (384 & 345 yards). The first-ever South African Long Drive Challenge. And, a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records (2003).

The lower center of gravity from a slightly deeper than standard head design gives your club the solid feel that you desire while still affording you the most forgiving head in our lineup. The lack of scorelines on the face will make your playing partners stand up and take notice. This design is one of function, not fashion. Our goal is to make all of our heads play as close to the .830 USGA allowance, and that called for a very thin face. So thin, that if we were to score the face in a traditional manner, it would weaken the structure of the head and compromise structural integrity and our quality standards.

The 455 is a favorite of those looking for the most forgiveness in their club while still looking for a slightly higher than standard trajectory.
Price for head only $145.00  includes the Club Head, SMT headcover,  SMT logo wrap grip, and ferrule.

NEMESIS
The 2002 World Long Drive Champion. The longest drive during the 2003 World Long Drive Championship week at 403 yards. No wonder this club has attained ‘cult’ status! The Nemesis is a favorite on the Nationwide Tour and in the golf bags of thousands of amateur players worldwide.

This head while extremely enjoyable to play is as forgiving as it is classical in shape. The mid center of gravity keeps the trajectory right at the state loft, and will really let the ball roll for you.

The lack of scorelines on the face is approved for all USGA play.

This head is a favorite for the person looking for classic good looks and more roll due to the slightly flatter trajectory.

SPECTRUM
After 13 months on the design table, we shocked the World with the Spectrum. The first-ever full 3-sided wrap around soleplate design on the market. This was designed for the most efficient transfer of power I could get. I wanted the ball to leave the clubface as quickly as possible, and to feel and look like nothing that has ever been done before. I think we got it.

This head was the main reason for one of my Fall trips to the factory. Due to the manufacturing process it is almost impossible to have a soleplate that covers three distinctive sides of the head. Sole, backskirt and crown. It takes on special meaning since SMT heads are made differently than all other heads.

The unique design afforded us the luxury of both deepening the center of gravity and, at the same time, raising it. This gives us the best of both worlds. Amazingly solid feel at impact and a trajectory that is not too high to promote roll. I have not been this excited about any head as I am about the Spectrum in the past 26 years!

The see through black color gives the Spectrum instant recognition as a winner. In 2004 it was the longest driver on any PGA Tour with an Tour Driving Distance Record of 429 yards. It was also the 2005 New Zealand Long Drive Champion

The Encore was born out of the long and arduous design process realized when creating the Spectrum. I think we can all agree that The Spectrum achieved more than expected in it's debut, by becoming the Longest Driver on any PGA Tour for the 2004 season with a driving distance average of 330.9 yards. A full 18 yards longer than the next nearest clubhead. We took that same design principle of extreme pure energy transfer that is generated through impact, and simply incorporated it into a clubhead of larger size. The Encore, at 450cc's is the second largest in the line, and while it is a full year late in introduction, we feel that the wait will be more than worth it. I refused to simply debut the product until it was perfect and now it is here. The same full 3 sided wrap around soleplate design was retained with a couple of modifications, but the Big Brother to the Spectrum alreadyhas a place waiting for it in SMT lore. Thsi clubhead is made to simply bomb it! Nothing shy about this one, and we even went so far as to make the paint a unique satin finish black, something no other component has ever done. Your playing partners will know this one is different as soon as the headcover is removed.

This 430cc club is the first of the SMT lineup to boast that it has a part of it that is patented. Albeit, pateneted in the country of origin, in this case, China.

The Indio is the club that produces very similar playing characteristics as the Babylon, but in an all titanium product.

The patented crown design is clearly different from the moment you see the club. The revolutionary crosshatch crown has been forged with
weight reduction and rigidity in mind. At the same time, the underside of the crown has been forged with a different, almost multiple tear drop design which also increases tautness as well as reduces the weight from within. The result, a unique yet pleasant blend of technology and functionality. A crown hat is overall lighter than other titanium crowns, but one hat will counter the violent effects of ball and club impact than traditional manufacturing techniques.

We were able to take the weight saved on the top of the clubhead and do something equally unique on the sole and backskirt of this head.

We cut in deep angular fins, which simply add  more actual product area to a sole of the same size. In other words, we added weight in all the right places , again, without the need for welding weight chips onto the inside of the soleplate or adding of any weight in the form of copper or screw systems.

More weight where you need it... less where you don't and a sound that we all have become comfortable with from SMT Golf.

The Durometer Series Wedge may be the most innovative design from SMT. It features a rubber shock-absorbing insert in the hosel of the club. Shock, vibration, or feel as vibration is often called, is transferred up the shaft to the hands. SMT effectively dampens the transmission of impact vibration where it begins, at the hosel.

The Players Series (black insert)
Absorbs up to 14 percent of the shock felt when the clubface hits the ball.

Tour Series (green insert)
Absorbs up to 4 percent of the shock felt when the clubface hits the ball.

Similar to the SMT irons, the SMT wedges are made from 303 Stainless Steel with a CNC milled face and machined in square grooves for added spin. There are a total of 12 wedges in the new line ranging from 49-59 degrees.

The wedges come with the standard SMT lifetime warranty.

Probably will be the best seller, but for the wrong reason—that reason being that it is the least expensive of the three RLM shafts. The Argent would tend to lend itself to the golfer that is looking for a bit more accuracy due to the fact that it is the heaviest of the lineup. A slight two tone fade from dark silver satin to charcoal satin finish. This shaft looks spectacular with just about any clubhead on the market. I also expect this shaft to end up in a huge amount of fairway woods as its design will aid in getting shots airborne while its weight will lend itself nicely to the finished club.

This shaft is the most universal of the three. In my opinion, the perfect blend between weight and torque. This is my personal favorite of the three RLM shafts. The Darkest of charcoal color fades to slightly lighter graphite grey, and all done in a rich satin finish. While it seems as if this shaft might be a little tight, I assure you it is perfect for the majority of golfers. Drivers will find the ball to get up in the air easier for more distance than the Argent shaft, and golfers of all skill levels and swing speeds will find the Basalt will match their needs. You will not be disappointed in this one.

I wanted this shaft to be a spectacular shaft. And this is going to sound odd, but it is one that is not really for anyone in particular, but really for everyone that plays the game. It goes with my theory that the longer the ball is in the air, the further it will go ( more on that story if I am asked ). The lightest of the three new shafts and the softest feel of the three. Please notice that I didn't say that it was the most flexible.... just buttery soft. This shaft provides the most feedback, both positive and negative. Tee it high, and let the Miridio fly. Oddly, the design lends itself to both "swingers" as well as "hitters". The satin blue color is rich and different looking. While it doesn't really match up perfectly color wise with many heads, who cares? Because the results will speak for themselves. I will put this shaft in one of my own personal drivers, probably the Indio and have fun just killing it. Don't be afraid of this shaft, the feel and feedback is outstanding.

With its highly modified shallow face design, and a beautifully sculpted sole which is                                                                                      unlike anything else on the market, the 3390 Series fairway woods mysteriously retain                                                                                    their classic good looks in a timeless pear shaped design, which is quite pleasing to the                                                                                 eye at address and promotes rather easy alignment from all lies.

The unique sole design assures square address and contact position from each                                                                                             clubhead in the set, while at the same time reducing the drag created by turf impact                                                                                       commonly found on all fairway woods on the market today, and virtually eliminating any                                                                                  clubhead twisting caused by inconsistent turf conditions or user error. The multi level                                                                                      design moves the center of gravity much deeper into the head for stability, solid feel and                                                                                  soaring trajectory where there was none before. The sense of confidence that you will                                                                                     have with these fairway clubs is something that you have to experience to believe.

The focus on this head design was spin profile, and player confidence, rather than the old “longer and straighter” that we have all been sold on for decades in this industry, but don’t think for a moment that we would sacrifice any distance with this offering, for we did not, as there is not a hotter fairway wood face in the industry today. We found that by focusing on the balls descent to the ground and its relation to design and spin characteristics we were able to squeeze more out of a clubhead than we ever thought possible. We weren’t happy until we got this one where we wanted it to be, and it took 14 different mock ups, and one calendar year to get the new 3390 Series exactly right!

Clubhead size, center of gravity, hosel depth, hosel length, loft choices and clubhead material all presented their own gremlins for us at times, especially relating each to the other during design changes. It never ceases to amaze me how a small change in one feature can throw something else totally off balance. But this, the final result, is something truly spectacular and one that has achieved the exact goals intended for this rather exciting line of SMT fairway woods.

By utilizing the highest quality #420 Maraging Steel throughout, were able to capture the nuances in ball spin profile, distance, manufacturing tolerances and manufacturing capabilities without a single sacrifice along the way.

At 460cc's the DB Plus fills a void in the SMT line like no other. Hiding the weight                                                                                           and the bulk of the hosel piece inside the clubhead has allowed us to move the                                                                                               center of gravity to a much more playable position in this particular head. A mildly                                                                                           classic pear shape with deeper heel and backskirt design hides the size of this head                                                                                       nicely. We have taken the patented double forged crown design, first brought to                                                                                              market on the very popular Indio clubhead, and modified it slightly on the DB Plus to                                                                                       work in harmony with its unique sole design to produce a large clubhead that still                                                                                            feels very solid yet plays absolutely true to loft, something that is almost always                                                                                             lost in today's larger designs. The double forged crosshatch section of the thin titanium crown has been reserved for the front half of the crown allowing the heavier crown section to encircle it, bringing the weight further from the striking area of the clubface thusly increasing the moment of inertia of the design. Turning this titanium beauty over, you will see just the opposite as you have on the crown. The heavier part of the sole is actually closer to the face and the rear of the rounded sole sweeps rapidly up and away into the backskirt area for stability, trajectory, energry transfer, and optimum spin profile of your golf ball. We finished it up with a rich black metalflake crown to blend seamlessly with the new 3390 Series fairway woods and added a bright white accent for a bit of excitement. Oh yes, and the graphics are "upside down" for a reason. When you start hitting your new DB plus driver, you will undoubtedly be "posing" a bit as you watch the ball fly down the fairway, and in case there are any cameras around during your follow through, we wanted to make sure that they could read the name of the club easily enough - DB Plus
